A range of boxes were made by young volunteers from the Scouts, Cubs, ATC and members of local schools. The bird boxes varied in size ranging from blue tit size to ones for tawny owls and kestrels. All the boxes were numbered so a record can be kept of the type of bird using the box and the frequency of use.
